Focusing on unmanned underwater vehicles as the core control object, it is mainly engaged in applied basic research on core basic theories, key technologies and cutting-edge directions such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, navigation guidance and intelligent control. The main research directions include:

(1) Research direction: autonomous control and task perception of underwater unmanned systems; Multi-perch vehicle detection, guidance and control; Detection system target perception and recognition;
