Personal profile

Wang Ye, graduated from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in October 2018, obtained the European Union International Doctorate degree in Automatic Control, Robotics and Vision, and his doctoral thesis was awarded the best doctoral thesis in control Engineering in 2019 by the Spanish Association of Automatic Control and Springer Publishing house. At present, he is an associate professor and master tutor in the School of Automation of Harbin Engineering University. From June 2015 to October 2018, he was a Research Fellow at the Institute for Robotics and Industrial Information of the National Research Council of Spain.

Dr. Wang Ye has been engaged in the research of model predictive control, fault diagnosis and fault tolerance control for a long time. He has made outstanding academic contributions to state estimation, fault diagnosis and economic model predictive control of generalized systems based on set theory. So far, he has published more than 40 papers in important international academic journals and conferences, including 5 papers in the top journals in the field of Control, Automatica and IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control. So far, as a major participant, he has participated in 1 EU Seventh Framework project and 2 Spanish national research projects.

Educational experience

From September 2008 to June 2012, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Northeast Forestry University, majored in automation, Bachelor;

From September 2012 to July 2014, Master of European Union in Automatic Control and Robotics, Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain);

From June 2015 to October 2018, Ph.D., European Union International, majoring in Automatic Control, Robotics and Vision, Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain).

Research direction

1. Model predictive control, distributed optimization and control;

2. Fault diagnosis and fault tolerance control.
