The third seminar of the Ideological and Political Innovation Alliance for Automation Courses in Universities under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was held in the teacher salon of our school's Sailing Activity Center. Zhang Shimei, Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee, and Zhao Yuxin, Assistant President and Dean of the Intelligent College, attended the meeting. More than 50 relevant leaders from seven universities under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as outstanding teachers of ideological and political education, participated in the seminar.

Regarding the content, focusing on the core of comprehensively improving talent cultivation ability, we aim to enhance the awareness and ability of professional course teachers to carry out ideological and political courses, and further enhance the effectiveness of moral education and talent cultivation. We should focus on practical and key issues in the construction of ideological and political education in courses, and combine them with the characteristics of the automation discipline to deeply exchange and discuss the connotation, path, direction, and methods of construction. We should scientifically design the teaching system of ideological and political education in courses, and promote the continuous, practical, sustainable, and high-quality development of ideological and political education in courses. To promote the improvement of the quality evaluation system and incentive mechanism for curriculum ideological and political construction, with the effectiveness of talent cultivation as the primary evaluation standard, establish and improve a multi-dimensional evaluation system and supervision and inspection mechanism for the effectiveness of curriculum ideological and political construction, fully leverage the organizational role of the alliance, and study and formulate scientifically diverse curriculum ideological and political evaluation standards.

Zhao Yuxin pointed out that this seminar has great guiding significance for the development of ideological and political construction related to courses in various universities. Each university of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has a strong sense of patriotism and red genes, and has its own unique spiritual lineage in the process of constructing curriculum ideological and political education. It is necessary to fully inherit and carry forward the unique spiritual connotations of each university, integrate ideological and political education throughout the entire process of talent cultivation system construction, and fully play the important role of curriculum ideological and political education in the talent cultivation system.

Leaders and teachers attending various universities had in-depth exchanges on the construction of ideological and political education in their respective universities, the existing problems, and their experiences in the construction.

After the meeting, the attendees visited the laboratory of the Intelligent College and discussed practical issues such as laboratory construction and student experiments.

On May 19th, attendees visited the Harbin Military Industry Memorial Hall of the school.
