Personal profile

Senior Member of IEEE. At present, he is mainly engaged in the field of underwater optical and acoustic image processing, target detection and recognition, and underwater intelligent robot. He chaired the Program Committees of IEEE ICMA 2023 (International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation), IEEE ICIA 2010 (International Conference on Information and Automation), and IEEE/ICME CME 2010 (International Conference on Complex Medical Engineering). He is currently the vice chairman of Heilongjiang Artificial Intelligence Society and the deputy secretary general of Heilongjiang Neuroscience Society. He has presided over more than 30 scientific research projects, including national key research and development projects, National Nature Foundation and national defense pre-research projects. He has published more than 270 papers in domestic and foreign journals and conferences, including more than 220 SCI and EI indexes, applied for or authorized more than 70 invention patents, and won 4 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards. More than 140 graduate students and more than 30 doctoral students have been trained. In 2018 and 2019, he led students to participate in the international unmanned autonomous underwater robot Competition in San Diego, USA, and won the world championship for two consecutive times.

The research field mainly includes the following three aspects:

(1) Underwater robot system: intelligent underwater robot and its control system.

(2) Digital image processing: robot target tracking, positioning and recognition; Underwater sonar image processing and recognition.
