Personal profile

Wang Yuanhui, Professor, doctoral supervisor, postdoctoral fellow, National University of Singapore. Deputy Director, Party Branch Secretary, Marine Equipment and Control Technology Institute, Deputy director of Heilongjiang Ship and ocean Control Engineering Laboratory. His research interests include modern ship control engineering, intelligent Marine equipment and systems, autonomous unmanned intelligence and swarm intelligence, and autonomous control of Marine robots. Currently, he has presided over or completed more than 30 projects such as national major science and technology special sub-projects, high-tech ships of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, JKW Frontier innovation key projects, JKW Foundation Strengthening key projects, HJ equipment development projects, National Natural Science Foundation, and Natural Science Foundation of Heilongjiang Province. He won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress, the first prize of National Defense Science and Technology Progress, the second prize of National defense science and technology progress, and the first prize of provincial natural science and technology achievements. He has published 4 books, published more than 70 academic papers indexed by SCI/EI, and obtained more than 40 national invention patents. It has been adhering to the scientific research spirit and attitude of "dare to think, dare to win, seek truth, seek truth, seek rigor", and has deep attainments in the field of ship dynamic positioning technology, hovercraft intelligent integrated driving control technology, Marine vehicle modeling and control technology, Marine robot autonomous control technology, system overall verification and simulation evaluation technology.

In terms of talent training, we teach 3 core professional courses and 1 English course for undergraduate and master students. He supervised 13 doctors (4 have graduated), 42 masters (10 years have graduated), including 1 foreign master's student and 55 undergraduate students; Graduate students have won more than 20 national scholarships, outstanding graduates, outstanding Communist Party members, outstanding Communist Youth League cadres, etc. Funded by the Study Abroad Fund to jointly train 4 students abroad; Graduates are mainly employed in Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Qingdao, Dalian, Shenyang, Wuhan, Xi 'an and other places. Employed by Dalian Maritime University, Harbin University of Science and Technology, Huawei, ZTE, CSIC Research Institute, China Academy of Astronautics, Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Electronics Technology Group Research Institute, Tianjin Optoelectronics Group, Shenyang Liming Engine Group and many other well-known units, the employment rate of 100%, adequate funding for postgraduate training.

The main research directions are:

(1) Modern ship control Engineering (Control Science and Engineering/Electronic information) : advanced control theory and application; Marine vehicle motion control; Detection, guidance and control; Surface ship dynamic positioning control; Mooring dynamic positioning control; High performance attitude control; Intelligent integrated driving control of hovercraft; Navigation safety control; Ship motion attitude prediction; Ship system simulation and performance evaluation.

(2) Intelligent Marine equipment and systems (Control science and Engineering/Artificial intelligence/electronic information) : Marine equipment and vehicle control systems; Marine engineering positioning system; Ship/offshore platform dynamic positioning system; Mooring positioning system; Marine robot system; Unmanned boat system; Unmanned hovercraft system; Marine equipment control system optimization technology; Semi-physical simulation of Marine equipment system; Performance evaluation technology of Marine equipment control system.

(3) Autonomous unmanned intelligence and swarm intelligence (underwater intelligent technology/artificial intelligence/electronic information) : complex systems and nonlinear control; Autonomous control of unmanned vehicles; Underwater dynamic positioning; Swarm intelligence; Artificial intelligence theory and application; Intelligent control of Marine robot; Autonomous homing and operation control; Intelligent decision and control; Path planning and obstacle avoidance; Formation control; Collaborative control of Marine operating system.

Undertake a project

He has presided over or completed more than 30 projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, National major science and technology special projects, high-tech ships of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, naval equipment research projects, naval model research projects, and Natural science funds of Heilongjiang Province. Won 1 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress, 1 first prize of National defense science and technology progress, 1 second prize of National defense science and technology progress, 1 first prize of provincial natural science and technology achievements, published more than 70 SCI/EI papers as the first author, applied for 55 national invention patents, and has authorized 18; Co-published 4 books.

Academic exchange

(1) From 2017 to 2018, I was engaged in the post-doctoral research work of intelligent robot motion planning in the Mechatronics Laboratory of the National University of Singapore, and jointly trained two PHDS;

(2) Has established long-term scientific research cooperation with the University of Guelph in the direction of advanced robotics and intelligent systems, and has jointly trained a doctor;

(3) Has established long-term cooperation with the French Academy of Sciences in the field of Marine robot control theory, and obtained the qualification of senior visiting scholar;

(4) Have cooperated with the Netherlands Maritime Research Institute for a long time, and obtained Marin series of hydrodynamic software training certificate;
