Chen Tao, male, born in October 1983, Doctor of Control Science and Engineering, postdoctoral fellow of Ship and Ocean Engineering, doctoral supervisor and master supervisor of control science and engineering, master supervisor of artificial intelligence (second-level discipline outside the catalog), national "10,000 thousand Plan" young top talent, winner of Provincial Youth Science and Technology Award, and the core backbone of provincial advanced navigation and control technology "Head Yan" team. I have been engaged in the research of autonomous and intelligent control technology, multi-vehicle and cluster control technology of underwater unmanned vehicles for a long time, and have led to overcome the core problems of a number of vehicles and cluster autonomous control technology, and participated in the development of multi-type vehicles. There are more than ten key projects such as research and development projects, pre-research projects, 863 projects and National Natural Science Foundation projects that have been completed and are in research. The team is a scientific and technological innovation team, which won the first "Outstanding Contribution Team Award" in 2020, and the second batch of "National University Huang Danian Teachers Team" in 2021. I have won one second prize of National Science and Technology Progress (2021), one special prize of National Defense Science and Technology Progress (2019), two first prizes of National Defense Science and Technology Progress (2016, 2015), and served as a young editorial board member of the Journal of Underwater Unmanned Systems and a number of domestic and foreign journals and international conferences.

Research direction

He is mainly engaged in the research of unmanned systems, artificial intelligence, modern control and other fields, focusing on the research of motion control, autonomous and intelligent control, planning and decision-making, fault diagnosis and fault tolerance, virtual simulation and so on.
