Profile

He is currently a research and teaching professor/doctoral advisor of the Institute of Automation, a member of the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, a deputy chairman of the committee of the democratic league Harbin Engineering University, and a peer reviewer of journals such as Acta Oceanologica Sinica, China Ocean Engineering, Journal of Southeast University, Ocean Engineering, Journal of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, and Chinese Journal of Ship Research; Obtained the first prize of National Defense Science and Technology Progress once, and the first prize of Science and Technology (Invention) in Heilongjiang Province once. The two national defense research projects have respectively passed the achievement appraisal of the National Defense Science and Technology Commission, and both have reached international advanced levels; In 2001, he was transferred to the Institute of Automation. Since 2005, he has presided over the research and development of the key national defense model "Ship borne X-band Marine Radar Ocean Wave Inversion Technology" and continued to carry out follow-up research, filling the domestic gap and reaching the international advanced level. He has signed 7 scientific research contracts with a total funding of about 19 million, and signed 13 equipment order contracts with a funding of about 37 million; Since 2001, as the technical leader, I have been responsible for the development of the national defense project "Comprehensive Simulation Training Equipment", with a total contract amount exceeding 30 million; In 2014, he presided over one special scientific research project for marine public welfare industry of the State Oceanic Administration, with a fund of about 2 million; Preside over the preparation of two national military standards; Participated in 1 national defense 973 project, 2 national defense pre research projects, and 1 key/general project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China; Since 2006, more than 50 papers have been published, including nearly 30 papers indexed by SCI and EI; Obtained 10 invention patent authorizations and 3 software copyright authorizations; I will lecture on one doctoral degree course, one master's degree course, and one elective course, as well as one undergraduate professional foundation course. He have obtained two third prizes for outstanding lecturers in undergraduate teaching at the university.

The cultivation of master's and doctoral students has always been closely integrated with real scientific research tasks. Scientific research work mainly focuses on algorithm research and software development, and appropriate arrangements are made to participate in field experiments. It has always focused on the comprehensive cultivation of practical and theoretical research abilities. One master's student graduated in 2018 and 2019 each was awarded the honorary title of Excellent Graduate of the school.

Research Fields

There are two main research areas, namely monitoring and forecasting of ship hydrological and meteorological information, navigation simulation and simulation training. Currently, the main research directions carried out are:

Ship navigation radar image inversion technology for ocean environmental information such as waves, surface currents, surface winds, and rainfall;

Navigation radar weak signal processing and small target recognition technology under wind and wave conditions;

Short term prediction and correction techniques for ship based waves;

Steady-state true wind estimation and key area wind field prediction technology on the ship surface;

Underwater vehicle navigation modeling and hydrodynamic parameter identification technology;

3D modeling and visual simulation technology for marine environment.
