From 1989 to 2001, he worked at the 703 Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Group as an engineer, senior engineer and researcher. Responsible for the main power plant monitoring system, control and protection system;

Since 2001, he has been a professor at the School of Automation, Harbin Engineering University.
