Introduction

The Institute of Intelligent Information Processing and Control Engineering, affiliated to the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering of Harbin Engineering University, originated from the research group of "anti-shake fin" during the Harbin military industry in the 1960s, and has long provided advanced technology and reliable quality equipment systems for the Chinese Navy. It maintains the international advanced level in the field of ship roll reduction and ship attitude control. The institute is the supporting unit of the "Ship Control Engineering" research center of the Ministry of Education, the leading unit of the key Laboratory of "Ship Control Engineering" of Heilongjiang Province, the main supporting unit of the national first-class professional "automation major", and has won the "school-enterprise Cooperation Double hundred Plan" of China Higher Education Society. His main research directions are ship navigation and attitude control, intelligent information system, human-machine hybrid intelligent control, which is an important scientific research base and talent training base in the field of ship motion and attitude control in China.

There are 23 teachers in the team, including 4 professors and 10 associate professors. More than 80% of them have overseas visiting experience. It has 1 provincial excellent teaching team of "Automatic Control System Theory", 1 national Gold course "Industrial Process Control", 1 national graduate online development course "Random Process", 1 provincial gold course "Automatic Control Theory", 1 State Council special paste winner, 1 honorary director of the Chinese Society of Automation, 1 provincial famous teaching teacher, 1 provincial excellent teaching worker. There is one outstanding tutor for provincial graduate students, and he has won one second prize for national teaching achievements and eight provincial teaching achievement awards.

The team undertook dozens of national, provincial and ministerial projects such as the national 973 project, the National Science and Technology Support Plan, the National Natural Science Foundation, and the National Defense technology Foundation, with an annual research fund of more than 60 million yuan, and the team developed related systems and equipment for China's navy, coast guard and fishery administration departments, creating an output value of hundreds of millions of yuan. The team authorized 122 invention patents, published more than 400 academic papers, published 7 academic monographs, and won 15 provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards, including 1 first prize of technological invention in Heilongjiang Province, 1 second prize of China Ocean Engineering Science and Technology, and 1 China Excellent Patent Award.

Over the years, the team has trained more than 150 doctoral studens and 400 master's students. Graduates have system-level engineering design ability, a wide range of employment directions, mainly to the international 500, research institutes and key universities and other enterprises and institutions. And a number of graduates have grown into national excellent youth, Zhuoqing, model chief division, discipline leaders, etc., becoming the leading and pillar talents of employers.
