At the annual meeting of academicians of the Russian Academy of Engineering (RAE) held on April 20, 25 Chinese experts including Yang Yunchun, adjunct professor of our college, were elected foreign academicians of the Russian Academy of Engineering, which is the largest number of Chinese experts elected in the past years. The Russian Academy of Engineering is an influential scientific institution and public organization in Russia.

Yang Yunchun is an alumnus of the 89 Class Automation School of Harbin Engineering University and an adjunct professor of the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering of Harbin Engineering University. Currently, he is the chairman of Beijing Si Microelectronics Co., LTD., and the co-founder and chairman of Beijing Haichuang Industrial Research Institute. Previously, Yang Yunchun donated 20 million yuan to set up an education fund project in our school to support the development of teachers and students.
