Liang Hong, female, Han ethnicity, born in March 1981, is a member of the Communist Party of China. She holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor. She obtained her doctoral degree from Harbin Engineering University in March 2010 and has since served as a lecturer and associate professor at the School of Automation, Harbin Engineering University. From October 2014 to October 2015, she conducted exchange visits at the Neuroscience Center of Indiana University in the United States. Since November 2019, she has been the Assistant Dean of the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering, Harbin Engineering University.
She has been engaged in research in the fields of machine vision, cognitive neuroscience and neuromorphic computing, and biomedical instruments. She has presided over and participated in more than ten research projects, including the Major Scientific Instrument Development Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, International Science and Technology Cooperation Project, National Natural Science Foundation, and Heilongjiang Province Natural Science Foundation for Young Scholars. She has published over 80 academic papers, including more than 20 SCI indexed papers. She has been granted 8 invention patents and has received 2 second-class provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards. She is a member of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, a council member of the Heilongjiang Biomedical Engineering Society, and a council member of the Heilongjiang Artificial Intelligence Society.
